Lunch and Learn: Engagement Strategies: Engaging Media

Whatever tactic or combination of tactics your organization decides to use when moving your policy agenda forward, communications will play a vital role. Media engagement can be a powerful part your approach. Determining what content to include and/or highlight, choosing compelling data and statistics, and determining what channels are appropriate for your message, all play a role in a successful engagement campaign.

This session is sold out.

In this session, Ken Lima-Coelho, Vice President, Community Engagement of YMCA Calgary, will share his experiences and strategies for media engagement in advancing nonprofit policy agendas. Bring your questions and your own experiences in engaging media to build connections and connect with other communications professionals in the sector.

This is a brown bag lunch event, coffee and dessert will be provided.
