Let’s get one thing straight off the top. “I need to f*ing talk to you”, is a bad way to start any conversation, let alone one with a co-worker. Unfortunately, too many leaders have started conversations this way. Usually, it’s because some issue has been festering for weeks or months and it has finally reached the point where we can’t stand it anymore. In this webinar, Ken and Russell will discuss why leaders often avoid difficult conversations and watch two actors try to navigate a typical conversation. You’ll have the chance to offer feedback and explore the B.E.E.F. Model as a technique for structuring these conversations.
2022 Annual General Meeting
At this year’s AGM, we will be presenting a dashboard highlighting the impacts of the pandemic on the nonprofit sector in Alberta, from our Mapping the Field research. We’ll give a high-level overview of impacts by subsector and discuss ways that organizations can use this data when advocating for support. We look forward to presenting the full research at our report release in November.
