Stakeholder Roundtable for an Alberta Nonprofit Data Strategy

  • Memorial Park Library 1221 2 St SW Calgary (map)

Enhanced collection and use of data in Alberta’s nonprofit sector is essential for the betterment of our communities. In recognition of the emerging technological opportunities for the sector to more fully utilize data, Alberta Culture & Tourism has provided funding to build a foundation for a new Nonprofit Data Strategy.

Nonprofit professionals who have an interest in improving the acquisition, analysis, and sharing of data were invited to join a Stakeholder Roundtable in Calgary to help determine sector priorities and develop a roadmap that will serve as a foundation for the strategy.

This roundtable discussion was an opportunity to contribute your nonprofit’s views and priorities during this phase of the project while engaging with other stakeholders to discuss the data related issues in the sector.

Read the project whitepaper here to learn more about the project, and review the questions that will be discussed at the roundtable.

Couldn’t make it to the roundtable? Send your responses to the whitepaper, or other comments on this project, by emailing Geoff Zakaib.
