Restrictions Exemption Program Implementation Grant

The Government of Alberta has announced the new Restrictions Exemption Program Implementation Grant (REPIG). This grant provides a one-time payment of $2,000 to eligible small- and medium-sized businesses that implement the Restrictions Exemption Program (REP) across Alberta. The purpose of this grant is to “offset costs associated with a proof of vaccination program”.

While details on the grant are not currently available, nonprofits participating in the REP will be eligible to apply. The Government of Alberta has stated that details will be made available once they have been finalized.

Please note that a similar grant funding program, the Calgary REP Business Support Grant, was recently launched by the City of Calgary, however, nonprofits are not eligible for this municipal funding.
