Statistics Canada Releases All-In-One Portal For Housing Data In Canada

Last week, Statistics Canada launched a new Housing Statistics Portal in an effort to improve access to housing data across the country. The portal is a hub for all data regarding housing and other factors in relation to housing. Other factors that are interrelated to housing include prices, demographics, labour force, construction, and the economy. This portal provides user-friendly data to view geographical rankings for each housing market indicator, interactive maps and charts for comparative analysis, and comprehensive information on residential properties and their owners, among other features. This portal provides convenience for those who require housing data to better inform their policy advocacy, and awareness about the state of housing through accurate data.

Statistics Canada has promised that the data will be regularly updated as new information becomes available.
