2013 Alberta Nonprofit Survey
CCVO is pleased to announce the launch of the 2013 Alberta Nonprofit Survey. Now in its sixth edition, this annual survey enables us to perform trend analysis in key areas such as revenues, operating costs, human resources, and operational challenges.
The Alberta Nonprofit Survey remains the premier source of Alberta-specific research that documents the ongoing health and evolution of Alberta's nonprofit sector. The series has helped illustrate the changes occurring in Alberta's nonprofit sector since 2009. Results of past surveys have provided essential information to nonprofit leaders and boards, governments, funders and community stakeholders.
In addition to core questions that appear each year, this year's survey asks organizations about the impact of the elimination of Community Spirit and STEP grants, as well as their expectations on how the Social Policy Framework will shape their work. Overall, the 2013 survey is briefer than past editions.
Our 2012 survey drew over 500 respondents from across Alberta and represented all nonprofit sub-sectors. We hope you will support CCVO by completing the survey and distributing it to other nonprofits and charities in the province. It is critical that we get responses from all regions of the province, and all sizes and types of organization, so that our findings fully represent the breadth and diversity of Alberta's nonprofit sector.
