Some Questions to Consider

As we head toward the election, we encourage you to think about how your work contributes to the quality of life and economic well-being of Albertans – the ways in which your organization makes Alberta a great place to live and work – and what you envision as a preferred future for Alberta. We encourage you to consider the issues you confront as you go about fulfilling your mandate.

  • How does the work performed by your organization contribute to the quality of life in your community? How does it make Alberta attractive to talent and investment?
  • How will an improving economy impact your organization? What are the benefits and challenges?
  • How do you sustain your work through Alberta's boom-bust cycles?
  • What have been your greatest successes in recent years and what has contributed to those successes?
  • What are the greatest challenges you face in fulfilling your mandate and what would help you address these challenges?
  • What idea do you bring to the table in your dealings with goverment?
  • What characterizes healthy collaboration across sectors?
